Most people tends to quit a project whenever they get to a point whereby they failed severally.
Thomas Alva Edison (February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931) was an American Inventor and businessman who held a world record of 1,093 patents, he was dubbed ‘The Wizard Of Menlo Park’. He created the worlds first industrial research laboratory. He invented the light bulb, the motion picture camera, the phonograph, a stock ticker, a battery for electric cars, and numerous other inventions. Edison’s numerous inventions have influenced the world greatly.
But what you may not have known, is just how much Thomas Edison had experienced failure in his lifetime before becoming successful. I was listening to the late Greg Plitt’s speech on Edison recently. In which he explained that Edison had been labelled as retarded when he was just a child. He couldn’t speak until he was 4 years old. He was removed from school after being called retarded. He failed at every single job he had, until finally… Edison became a successful inventor. Greg touched on the point that it was perhaps because of his earlier life, that he stuck at inventing things for so long. All his life he’d experienced failure; so when he started failing with every invention he was trying to create at the time, it was just an average day to him. Hence, he kept on going because he loved what he did, and finally succeeded after failing over 1000 times. He was a man who persevered until he succeeded, and he didn’t stop until he got what he wanted. Most people just give up when things get tough, and remain where they are.
Failure and success works together..
You have to fail before you acquire your success.. You will surely gets to a stage of failure, a stage of frustration, a stage whereby most people quits, But for you not back off, you need to be motivated by something, there is no successful human that is not motivated by something, it might be a music, it might be someone you are looking up to, it might be a quote and many more, no matter how strong you are, if you get to those listed stages, you will surely back off if you ain't motivated by something... That's why I look at most people who criticize Motivational Speakers, There is nothing in this world that you do that doesn't involve motivational speaking, Any successful business is been motivated by something.
another factors that most people tends to fail is because they can't take the risk, They don't want to give it a try... This world is a war zone, you have to take the risk for you to come out alive...
Talking about business;
most people tends to avoid the borrowing of loans to upgrade their business.... But the truth is, most organizations that is popular today borrows money to upgrade their business.
Mack Zuckerberg started Facebook business at the age of "19" with the aim of making people around to connect together, he code facebook with some of his friends right from his room and also launched it right from his room, he rented a server of (85$)per month, and he funded it by putting an ads on the page as a source of income....
Now here he his well Known as the owner of Facebook, he was not even thinking it is going to be a company,
His goals his to make people connect together.... If you want to be successful, You have to take the risk.
Thomas Edison said; "I started from where the last man stop".
People don't tends to have patient,
A man brought up an idea on a project, then he engaged in it, in the process he his faced with so many challenges and failures then he intended to back off, then another man pick up this same plan an also engage himself in it, he faced the challenges and failures then he was successful in it, this man is said to start from where the last man stop.
When it seems like you should give up, do not give up cause it only needs more try, the success is near.
Whenever you are into a project and it seems like you are failing over and over again, what you need to do is give it a time, leave for like a month, then go back to it, you won't be surprised to see that you will overcome the failure, that's just the logic...
Instead of you giving up and losing hope on that particular project all because you failed, all you have to do is just give it a lacuna, give it some space, then go back to it, surely success will be yours....
Remember, Thomas Edison use his failure as a form of knowledge...
He has knowledge of 10,000 things that cannot work for a particular project.....
You can also do the same, turn your failure to knowledge and you will always overcome...
